Abstract :
Fourier bandwidth is always considered when the analysis of spectrum for the specific signal is required. In this paper, however, the notion of information data bandwidth is used to analyze the spreading signal instead of the Fourier bandwidth. We analyzed the constructed signals in terms of the information data bandwidth in the traditional spread-spectrum scheme using a PN sequence and in the new repeating scheme without the use of a PN sequence respectively. The latter constructs the spreading signal by compressing the original information data into the shorter time interval and then repeating the compressed signal times. The advantages of the new scheme are considered in the conclusion of this paper
