Abstract
This paper presents a robust stability analysis method for congestion control in TCP networks based on a time-varying structured uncertainties and time-varying delays control theory. Some delay dependent stability criteria under which TCP system is global stability in terms of the error between instantaneous queue lengths and target queue length is devised. A linear matrix inequality (LMI) stability criterion is presented for congestion control algorithm of random exponential marking (REM) model. Numerical example demonstrates that this analytic method is effective.
