Yi People´s patterns are indispensable part of Chinese traditional decoration arts. As a part of Yi People´s culture, the meaning of Yi clan pattern enriches diverse. The appeared visual aesthetic feeling and art features are what we are pursued for modern designs. This paper is to analyze the features of Yi People´s patterns, and explore how to apply the Yi People´s patterns to product design.
