Abstract :
Using Freon-11 as working fluid, an EHD (Electrohydrodynamic) heat transfer model was made for investigating EHD enhancement of nucleate boiling heat transfer. Under the condition of dc non-uniform electric field, the relationships of boiling heat transfer coefficient, heat flux, saturated vapor pressure and applied dc voltage were obtained, and also the influences of the number, the position and the shapes of electrodes on the boiling heat transfer can be obtained.
