  • Abstract
In this article, we utilized standard 3-D table data points, acquired shape-defining points by appropriately increasing garment interval values, and conducted curved surface fitting to create 3-D garment effects. Key technical issues of virtual garment style design & display base on textile physical properties are introduced. According to current technical condition, an easier transformation mode has been developed throughout analysis works on key issues and difficulties encountered in recent years. We put forward the following idea: 3-D table should be established first. After that, structural points and structural lines on 3-D table are plotted, base on which the interval values are determined which leads to the creation of a virtual garment shape. We also concluded some effective and practical methods for 3-D garment style generation.
