Abstract
This paper is devoted to the choice of chaotic spreading sequences for asynchronous DS-CDMA communication. Aiming at the characteristic of an asynchronous DS-CDMA system, some criteria on choosing spreading sequences are proposed. The optimizing flow chart is also presented. According to the flow chart, chaotic spreading sequences with better performance are obtained. Calculation shows that these sequences are more adapted to an asynchronous DS-CDMA system than Gold sequences
