Abstract :
Space Time Block Code (STBC) is one of the most important building blocks in multiple antenna systems due to it´s transmit diversity advantage. There is a trade off between diversity order and code rate in STBC designs; so that, in general case there is not exist any full-rate complex value STBC (except for Alamouti code). This paper proposes new family of full-rate STBC using a single-parameter (partial channel information) feedback over Rayleigh fading channels. This parameter consists of a phase, which is a function of all channel gains, and has a simple closed-form expression. A closed-loop STBC for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system is considered. The feedback significantly is reduced by transferring the information of sub-carriers from frequency domain to time domain.
