Abstract :
In this paper, an instantaneous controller of a single-phase PWM power converter is realized using a DSP. The stable PI gain of the input current and the DC link voltage control system is designed. An observer is used to feedforward the load current estimate. The load current observer has an outer adaptive routine to compensate for the DC link capacitance. It is shown in the experimental results that the observer performance and system dynamics can be enhanced and input current distortion can be reduced by compensating for the DC link capacitance to the observer
