Abstract :
With the increasing of mining depth, the surface and underground geological conditions have undergone great changes. The updating investigations mostly depend on the conventional means which has constrained the mine production on in-depth understanding of the geological terrain. So it is urgent to carry out the research work. The use of remote sensing techniques and auxiliary data to carry out the research work provide the basic data and technological support for the updating methods of mining area terrain by quickly, accurately getting knowledge of mining geology and environment information. This study updates the surface topography of a mine in Henan by use of the high-resolution data .The main contents are as follows: 1) pre-processing the data(geometric correction, radiometric correction); 2) using Laplace filtering arithmetic combined with corrosion operation and edge detection technology to semi-automatic or automatic extract the houses, roads on the fusion of high-resolution QUICKBIRD data.
