Abstract
Wireless technologies are only a small part of the “enterprise network revolution”. The internetworking technologies are going through a dramatic change and evolving into a myriad of virtual networking scenarios. In the midst of this revolution standards organizations are faced with an onerous responsibility of defining standards that are interoperable and integrable within existing networks. This paper discusses technology and protocol issues in the wireless communications environment
