Abstract
A number of modulation schemes have been proposed for the HIPERLAN system. This paper gives a review of these techniques, concentrating particularly upon the receiver signal processing requirements of each of the proposed modulation methods. An offset QPSK scheme is then examined in more detail. The equalisation requirements for this scheme are considered and simulation results given for typical channel conditions
