Abstract :
Multipath measurements have been performed at 59 GHz in 7 different streets in downtown Oslo. The streets had different dimensions and traffic conditions. In some streets there were trees along the buildings, and in one of the streets there were trees in the middle, sometimes obstructing the line-of-sight path. Statistical distributions of instantaneous mean delay, delay spread, delay interval and delay window have been calculated for all streets. The results show that delay spread in most situations is less than 20 ns, and 90% delay window is in most situations less than 50 ns, although much higher values have also been observed
