Abstract :
We design an ultra-compact silicon-on-insulator (SOI) add-drop microring filter with a 0.8-μm radius for WDW signal processing in a chip. The add-drop filter with a very large free spectra range of 136 nm, a deep through-port and drop-port extinction ratio of nearly 25dB and the insertion loss of less than 0.1 dB is achieved.
