Abstract
This paper presents an approach to model-validation of multivariable systems using the structured singular value. The problem is discussed as that of consistency of the system equations given input/output data and norm bounded perturbation sets. A scaling approach is devised to iteratively compute the least conservative perturbation weights needed to validate a model and an example is presented
