Abstract
Pulsed flows, characterized by periodic fluctuations in flow rate, are noise-productive, but an oscillating flap positioned in the exhaust duct can attenuate the main harmonic of pulsed flow. The approach developed in this study consists of tackling the problem relative to the amplitude and instantaneous phases of the harmonic of each process signal. This control allows the explicit expression of a feedback corrector with a pole on the harmonic to be attenuated. It has the advantages of the adaptive control defined in the frequency domain: simplified modeling, robustness and saved calculation time thanks to undersampling. The result is an adaptive system control without extra-signal injection or blockage of the estimator. The flap adaptive control defined in the frequency domain is implemented by a digital signal processor for experimental purposes. Results show noise reduction at ground level and the availability of the algorithm to track transients dynamics
