Abstract :
Over the years, the Web Systems Evolution (WSE) series of events has examined a number of different migration scenarios. First was the original challenge of migrating legacy systems to the Web. A few years later the problem was migrating a Web application to a portable device, such as cell phone. Then came the conversion of a Web site into a collection of Web services. Now a new research direction has emerged: migrating a Web-based application to the cloud.
