Abstract
The problem of semi-global output regulation for linear systems subject to input saturation was first solved by Lin et al. using regulators which are based on low gain feedback. In this paper, we show that new regulators based on the low-and-high gain design methodology as developed by Lin-Saberi also solve the same problem. These new regulators, inheriting the attributes of the low-and-high gain design methodology, fully utilize the available control capacity to achieve better closed-loop performance
