Abstract :
In this paper, two relay experiments are carried out on the closed-loop system to estimate both the phase and amplitude margins. Other key quantities, such as the delay margin, can also be obtained from these experiments at no extra cost. Use of the proposed methods for automatic tuning and adaptive control is discussed
