Abstract
Recent results regarding steady state noninductive long pulse discharges by using new plasma feedback control systems, the heat and particle exhaust capability of the various actively cooled plasma facing components, radiative layers in the ergodic divertor configuration, improved confinement linked with magnetic shear and progress towards current profile control are reported
