Abstract :
One time radial vibration, mostly caused by rotary eccentric load, may reduce the reliability and operating life of motors. In order to mitigate the one time radial vibration in permanent magnet motors, a real time detection method for rotary eccentric load based on the theoretical analysis of the motor vibration and the mechanical analysis was given, and a novel control strategy based on FOC (field oriented control) was proposed, which could produce the artificial pulsating torque to suppress the impact of vibration cause by the eccentric load. The control algorithm was investigated and tested on a real time permanent magnet motor drive system platform. The experimental results indicate that the proposed methods are simple and easy to be applied in the digital control system and the control strategy is practical.
