Abstract
In this paper, research on steady characteristic analysis model is carried out for a 12/8 poles doubly salient permanent magnet (DSPM) motor system. The working status of converter can be depicted by a series of one-order nonlinear differential equations. By finite element analysis method (FEA), flux-linkage and inductance characteristics of a DSPM prototype can be acquainted. On the base of these characteristics and differential equations, a simulation model for computing steady characteristics of the motor system is constructed in Matlab programming environment. Make a comparison between simulation results and test results, there are good accordance between them
