Abstract :
The paper elucidates synchronization of class of chaotic systems in different configurations. Proposed approach utilizes virtual system concept for stability analysis and exploits pseudo-symmetric structure of systems like Lorenz system, Chen system etc. to have state independent Jacobian matrix. Problem formulation for synchronization of Lorenz systems in master-slave and coupled chain configuration is presented and it is ascertained that single variable coupling is sufficient to achieve synchronization for these cases. Results presented here are global in nature and are derived in a simple manner.
