Abstract
This paper investigates the application of an interactive GA to speech signal processing. Three users design a filter to enhance speech using the interactive GA. The quality of the three 3 filters are evaluated on speech samples by 32 subjects on the basis of 2 subjective criteria. The authors´ results show that the interactive GA is effective for this task from a statistical test point of view
