Abstract
Grid/Cloud Computing is proved to be the most viable solution for e-Science as well as e-business and the new research paradigm by global collaboration and resource sharing. WLCG (Worldwide LHC Computing Grid) and EGI (European Grid Initiative) have been moving from a production system toward a sustainable infrastructure. The new generation infrastructure would be composed by Grid of Grids/Clouds, since various communities demand for different Cloud and GRID services and architecture. Heterogeneity is the norm of distributed computing infrastructure and the essential advantages of the scalable architecture. OGF (Open GRID Forum)-GIN (Grid Interoperation Now Community), the first organized efforts dealing with this issue by world collaborations, focusing on the following aspects of interoperation efforts among production Grids and Clouds, i.e. data location and movement, authentication/authorization and identity management, job description and execution, and information services. In this research, the current endeavors of Grid interoperation are reviewed in the first place. Based on the SRM (Storage Resource Management)-SRB (Storage Resource Broker) integration development, this paper presents a systematic approach for Hybrid Cloud interoperation.
