Survey on pan-European TMN-Experiments and Field Trial Support

The paper gives a survey and an introduction on the TMN related activities in the EURESCOM project P408, “pan-European TMN-Experiments and Field Trial Support”. After a brief presentation of some general information about the project, like partners, budget, life time and structure, the paper focuses on the pan-European TMN Laboratory, the so called PET-Lab. An introduction of the general structure of PET-Lab and the objectives of PET-Lab follows. The partners in this laboratory system are introduced and a report on the interoperability test (IOP-test) conducted in the first half of 1995 is included. The requirements for the test, the test strategy and some results are presented. A survey of the next activities planned in PET-Lab are also given
