Abstract :
A kind of intelligent unified protective system of HV asynchronous motors which based on the symmetrical component method is mentioned. The fault characteristics of the HV asynchronous motors are analyzed in detail. it works by detecting positive-sequence current amplitude, negative-sequence and zero-sequence current, and primitively covers all perhaps electric faults of HV motors. The automatic diagnosis of most common faults and a unified protection for the HV asynchronous motor can be realized.
