  • Abstract
    Telemedicine systems are a facility which allow geographically distributed health care personnel to communicate so as to diagnose and derive treatment methods. Major computational issues relating to telemedicine are compression algorithms, establishment and maintenance of network connections, and image storage and retrieval.
