Abstract :
The IntelligentPad platform allows for the construction of arbitrarily complex pad based applications. This paper outlines the application of Case Based Reasoning for adaptive assistance, thus enabling this component based construction system to yield complex applications especially for users with no prior experience with the platform in general and little or no special domain knowledge in particular. A Case Based Reasoning approach featuring structured case representations is exploited to derive knowledge from one or many known to be correct constructions.
