Abstract :
Intelligent control (IC) is a novel stage of automatic control development. Its development brings a new method for power electronic systems. This paper has applied fuzzy expert system (FES) to the power electronics in renewable energy equipment for state-monitoring and fault-diagnosis. By the analysis of typical power circuits, a kind of universal configuration of fault diagnostic system, which can be used to solve the existing maintenance of the power electronics in renewable energy equipment, has been introduced. The paper has established a foundation for further applications of FES in maintenance of the power electronics in renewable energy equipment.. The fault diagnosis system is verified to be feasible by simulation of MATLAB and experiment on line.
