Abstract :
In this paper the design of a fast bipolar microprocessor based digital filter bank is considered. The filter is completely microprogrammed and can be used to realize modular digital filter structures. Several steps have been taken in the design to minimize the processing time, e.g. a separate RAM address processor and a separate hardware array multiplier are included.
