Abstract :
In this paper an implicit model reference adaptive control algorithm for multi-input multi-output plants is developed. Asymptotic stability of the error between plant and model outputs is guaranteed even when the conditions for perfect model following do not hold. A procedure for satisfying the derived constraints sufficient for stability is considered. Examples verifying the theory are presented.
