Abstract :
Linear motor is a power device of directly converting electrical energy into mechanical energy to make linear motion. This paper presents a relatively novel brushless linear DC motor device, and studies on principle, structural and simulation design are made. A new scheme of brushless DC linear motor is selected, the structure of the model and installation location of magnets are compared and designed. Unilateral permanent magnet linear motor has such characteristics as small volume, light weight and simple structure. Simulation model of linear electromagnetic launcher is established in ANSOFT software, the best structural parameters are gained from the analysis of the affection of structural parameters for electromagnetic force. Through the simulation and optimization of the initial model, at last the best scheme is gained.
