Abstract
A new method for the measurement of the Thiele-Small small-signal parameters of a loudspeaker driver is described. The technique is based on an analysis of the time domain voltage response of the voice coil circuit to a current step of excitation. It is demonstrated that the method can be implemented with a digital computer using the technique of linear predictive analysis. The method is simple and can be implemented with a micro-processor configuration.
