Abstract :
A program based on the parallel compressor is developed for the calculation of inlet total-pressure distortion on a compressor. The mixing of momentum, quality and energy is considered. Performance at four speed lines has been presented with 6% and 8% of distortion index by simulation. Results are reasonable and in line with the previous test.
