Abstract :
In this workshop, we study various types of solutions for reaction-diffusion systems of activator-inhibitor type. A typical example is FitzHugh-Nagumo equations. In numerical computation, we use method of lines to approximate partial differential equation by a system of ordinary differential equations. Based on numerical studies, we investigate a number of properties for the traveling fronts and traveling pulses of FitzHugh-Nagumo type systems.
