Abstract :
A fuzzy decision support system FUZZY-FLOU has been described in this paper. The compositional rule of inference constitutes a basis of a reasoning method which handles uncertain (imprecise) knowledge, whereas certainty factors are introduced to deal with uncertainly inherent in knowledge. The system was designed as a typical knowledge based system consisting of three main parts: knowledge base, inference engine and user interface. Such an architecture makes it possible to implement the system in an object-oriented environment
