  • Abstract
    The LIDAR points should be interpolated to grids by the method of the edge detection with images directly. That will damage the position precision of the edge points. This paper proposes methods of using height difference and the spatial structure information of points cloud. The methods transition from 2D level to 3D level, they get a clear edge, retains the position precision of edge point. Especially for building edge extraction with complex structure, they achieved good results.
