Abstract :
Problems in controlling multivariable chemical systems are described. A brief description of a multivariable hybrid adaptive control technique is given. Simulation results will indicate reasonable success in achieving set point control of a double-effect evaporator and a distillation column in the face of variations of the parameters of the system.
