  • Abstract
The adsorption compressor is a new method of increasing gas pressure. In fact it belongs to a new type of thermodynamical processes which have hardly been documented until now. Each of these processes can be performed in different ways. By the help of the versions in this paper, one can achieve a significant pressure ratio with the investment of little or infinitesimal work; the compressor obtains the energy needed for working from the heat content of the environment
