Abstract
To survive and succeed in the current serious competitive market, firms take many actions to reengineer and improve their supply chain operation strategies. Among them, one of the hot points is supply chain demand response strategy (SCDRS), which refers to how firms respond to and satisfy customer demand. In the practice of manufacturing factories, there are some typical SCDRS´s, such as make-to-stock (MTS), make-to-order (MTO), assemble-to-order (ATO), engineer-to-order (ETO), etc., but usually the actual strategies used by companies are combinations of them. Obviously, each typical strategy has its advantages and limitations, and only fits for some certain scenarios. In this paper, the typical SCDRS´s are analyzed and classified, subsequently the integrated strategies for the electronics industry are estimated and optimized. Through this approach, companies can get their desired, optimized business strategies with ease
