  • Abstract
The present practice of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects in the engineering and construction industry receives many criticisms and requires substantial improvement. This paper examines the nature and characteristics of EPC projects and maps the project processes. An enhanced `to-be´ model is proposed by applying the concepts of supply chain management and critical chain project management based on the theory of constraints
