  • Abstract
A technical interlock system has to prevent any damage from the cost expensive components of the RF stations. The implementation of the interlock should guarantee a maximum of uninterrupted time of operation which includes the implementation of self-diagnostic and repair strategies on module basis. The system monitors the behavior of various system components, collects and processes status information in real-time and reports actual status to the control system. Because of the installation in the accelerator tunnel, that is inaccessible, the Interlock System must be operated from remote and must provide remote diagnostic.
