Abstract :
A high efficiency conversion system based on super-capacitor energy recover and power factor correction (PFC) is proposed for motion system, such as elevators. It allows to greatly improve the elevator performances in terms of energy efficiency and power demand, allowing the compliance with the IEC-1000-3-2 and IEEE-519 international standard on the power quality.
