The similar design method of unloading rock mass in model test and its application

Abstract :
The unloading injury and constitutive equation of unloading rock mass isn´t linear. Therefore, the similar design method of unloading rock mass can´t be designed according to the linear elastic constitutive model. So the dimensional analysis is adopted. The result shows that there are only two basic similar scales if the complete geometric similarity is used. All other similar scales can be deduced according to these two basal similar scales. The test method is easy to use. In the end, the design method and experimental program on conglomerate is briefly introduced.
