Preface

The ASDAM 2012 Conference gets together researchers working in the field of semiconductor devices and Microsystems again. It is already an established meeting of scientists prevalently from Central Europe but also from the United Kingdom, Japan and other countries of the world. The new results of the research endeavour in the field of semiconductor devices will be referred to in the Conference sessions. The Conference has confirmed its reputation in the last few years as an already well-known meeting, not large in the number of participants but by the scientific level of their contributions and its nice surroundings providing very agreeable atmosphere for discussions and exchange of recently reached results of different laboratories.
