  • Abstract
Power systems stability has been analysed specially due to the quick increasing of wind power penetration all around the world, specific in USA and Europe. This research presents the small signal stability analysis based on Kundurpsilas theory but specifically for wind turbines with squirrel cage induction generators - SCIG, understood as a widely accepted and applied for many researchers, power system analysers and utilities. Despite of his book is well recognized for Stability teaching, others researchers has its own point of view to power systems stability. Here the state of art on relevance works around the world is showed and taken into account. Here the state of art on relevance works around the world is showed and taken into account. The modeling and simulation is done with Matlab and a toolbox for stability purposes, called PSAT. Wind speeds, voltage generated and load demand ill be varied. The model is based on a real manufactured wind turbine.
