  • Abstract
    The thesis designs and implements a remote video acquisition system based on 3G wireless network It mainly describes the implementation framework of system, the structure of hardware and software in acquisition side, and the functions of software in client. With the use of MPEG4 codec technology, 3G wireless data transmission technology, P2P technology and DirectShow display technology, the system, which is based on embedded technology, achieves the data transmission , completes controlling camera and acquiring video data remotely. The test results show that the system achieves the desired goals, meets the requirement of video´s resolution, and has the advantages of broader coverage, high quality of video, etc.
