Abstract
This paper presents the way of single viable cell analysis based on image processing. At the first step, image segmentation is implemented to get the cell region. A novel and efficient segmentation method is proposed. After extracting the cell region by threshold segmentation, we remove the holes in cell region and noises in the background. And then cell features are extracted including static and dynamic features. Since cell static features are mature enough, we put our priority to the dynamic features extraction. The experimental results show the cell movement process clearly to us. It is critically useful for single viable cell analysis.
