Abstract :
Physics experiment course in science and engineering university is an important basic course, because almost all science and engineering students have to learn this course. In our school (Wuhan University of Technology), nearly 5,000 students learn this course each year. Since physics experiment course involves wider knowledge than university physics course, the instruments are also very strange for students to use, it is difficult to reach the ideal teaching effect with traditional teaching methods. The development of the computer multi-media animation technology provides an effective, advanced and economic means and methods for university physics experiment teaching. This paper discusses how to use Flash animation software and LAB VIEW virtual instrument software, according to the experiment teaching purpose, requirement, to develop and design multimedia animation software that is vivid, friendly interface, suitable for network transmission, easy to understand and operate for students. This paper shows several of screenshots of experiment teaching animation software, and analysis the important role of the multimedia animation software that play in university physics experiment teaching of Wuhan University of Technology.
