The survey and prevention of highway flood hazard in the eastern mountainous areas of Jilin Province

The catastrophic floods in Jilin province on July 28th 2010 led to the serious highway flood hazard in multiple places in eastern mountainous area, and brought about the huge economic losses. On the basis of the survey of highway flood hazard along the road, we analyse the reason of it. After that we put forward the measures of the prevention and cure, which including the measures of the design, construction, management, maintenance etc. Only making the prevention coming first, paying various attention of highway flood hazard, its occurrence can get effective control.
